Yoga Nidra – the nocturn sessions

Yoga Nidra, also known as Yogic sleep, is the practice of consciously relaxing the body whilst remaining mentally alive and alert. A single session of Yoga Nidra is said to be comparable to 4 hours deep sleep and is a catalyst for self-healing and inner transformation.
Each session will start with herbal tea and inspiration for devising a personal sankalpa, we will then move into the nidra practice, taking time to get comfortable, supported by blankets, pillows and bolsters.
Through the practice of Yoga Nidra we enter into a state of total physical relaxation, whilst our awareness remains fully present and alive to the sensations in the body. In this place of physical surrender, we are open to healing, restoration and a deep sense of self nurture.
